On a Pilgrimage to Peace for Israel-Palestine

Learn about on going efforts to build peace between Israel and Palestine. Presenters will include:

Daoud Nasser, Palestinian from Tent of Nations farm near Bethlehem, West Bank, Palestine, will report on challenges of daily living, human rights concerns, and peacebuilding efforts while living under decades of Israeli military occupation.

The Rev. Mae Elise Cannon, Executive Director of Churches for Middle East Peace, will relate the mission of her organization’s peace and reconciliation efforts in Israel-Palestine and their work with the U.S. government policy makers to promote a just and comprehensive resolution that is based on equality and religious freedom for all.

Also, hear perspectives on peace building, the affirmation of human dignity that emanates from our faith traditions, and the universality of human rights with Manzoor Cheema of Muslims for Social Justice and Sandra Korn from the NC Triangle chapter of Jewish Voice for Peace.
