L.C.M.H.C.\, N.C.C. is a licensed trauma therapist in the Charlotte metro\, who integrates faith into her private practice\, Grace Counseling. She has a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Regent University and undergraduate degrees in communications and English from Gardner-Webb University. With her tenure as an award-winning journalist\, routinely covering natural disasters and violent crime\, Roberta is well-versed in the impacts of trauma on every-day life and its multifaceted manifestations. In addition to specialized trauma training\, she has eight FEMA certifications. Through writing and speaking\, Roberta hopes to raise awareness about trauma and ways to mitigate its effects on individuals\, families\, and society. \n
