DESCRIPTION:Partners in Health and Wholeness\, an initiative of the North Carolina Council of Churches\, invites faith and lay leaders to join us for our next Sacred Conversations event on Wednesday\, November 18 at 12 p.m.\, titled “The Church at the Center of the COVID Pandemic.” \nParticipants will hear from guest speakers from the NC Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHSS) to discuss what we are learning about COVID-19 and trends across NC\, updated health and safety recommendations places of worship can implement to slow the spread\, and resources available to community members impacted by this pandemic. Faith leaders are invited to bring questions\, concerns\, and ideas to a conversation. \nClick here to register.\nWe will be joined by guest speakers Dr. Betsey Tilson\, NCDHHS Chief Medical Officer and State Health Director\, Carla West\, Senior Director for Economic Security\, and other members of the NCDHHS team. \nWe look forward to sharing this time together.
