SUMMARY:North Carolina Opioid Settlement Funds: Strategies\, Resources\, and Partnerships
DESCRIPTION:North Carolina will receive $1.5 billion from a series of national opioid settlements totaling $56 billion. These funds will support treatment\, recovery\, harm reduction\, and other life-saving programs and services in communities throughout the state. The funds began to be distributed to counties and municipalities in 2022 and will continue over 18 years. \nThis webinar will provide an overview of the NC Opioid Settlements and the Memorandum of Agreement between the State of North Carolina and Local Governments on Proceeds Relating to the Settlement of Opioid Litigation (NC MOA). Participants will learn about the background of the Opioid Settlement\, what the Memorandum of Agreement is\, and how your faith community can take advantage of the resources made available by the NC MOA. There will be an opportunity for Q&A. \nRegister here.
