Join the North Carolina Coalition for Alternatives to the Death Penalty (NCCADP) to demand a future without death row! Participants will gather at Pullen Memorial Baptist Church for a short program, then march about a mile to Central Prison. The program includes reading the names of the 43 people executed in N.C. since 1984 and the premiere of a spoken word piece by Nick Courmon.
If you are interested in volunteering, email Julia Millar at julia.millar@gmail.com. If you are unable to march and need transportation email Melissa Boughton at melissa@scsj.org.
The North Carolina Council of Churches is a member of the NCCADP.
