2011 Eastern NC Come to the Table Conference

Friday, Feb. 25 – 10:00 am – 5:00 pm – Kenansville, NC
Saturday, Feb. 26, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm – Various Locations

Join us for the Eastern North Carolina Come to the Table Conference: Communities of Faith Relieving Hunger and Supporting Local Farms.

The two-day event will include workshops, networking opportunities, and a local lunch on Friday, Feb. 25, and a light breakfast, speaker, and tours and service opportunities with local food ministries and projects on Saturday, Feb. 26th.

Friday’s events will be hosted by James Sprunt Community College at the Duplin County Agricultural Center in Kenansville, N.C.

Registration is $10, or $5 for Saturday only. All are welcome, and free registration is available for those who would otherwise be unable to come.

Display space is available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis to farms, faith communities, and nonprofits. Reserve a display table.

Friday Schedule

9:00 – 10:00 am – Registration
10:00 – 10:30 am – Welcome and Opening
10:45 – 11:45 am – Breakout Session 1
12:00 – 1:00 pm – Lunch
1:00 – 2:00 pm – World Cafe
2:15 – 3:15 pm – Breakout Session 2

El evento de dos días incluirá talleres, oportunidades para hacer contactos, almuerzo el viernes 25 de febrero, desayuno y un recorrido por los ministerios y proyectos de alimentación locales el sábado 26 de febrero.
