MLK Event and Bulletin Insert

January 11, 2011 by David LaMotte, Consultant for Peace

I am honored to have been asked to preach this year at the unity service held by Martin Street Baptist Church and Pullen Memorial Baptist Church here in Raleigh in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.  The two churches worship together each year on the Sunday before MLK Day, and this year the service will be held at 4PM, Sunday, January 16 at Martin Street Baptist Church, 1001 East Martin Street, Raleigh, NC.  All are welcome.

Spencer Bradford designed an excellent bulletin insert quoting Dr. King’s sermon at Riverside Church in 1967.  It is available here for your use.

Grace and peace to you,

David LaMotte
Program Associate for Peace
