Friends of the Council are encouraged to participate in one or both of the following community events, each of which is designed to help you take better care of your health:
FIRST EVENT:
Heart/Stroke Healthy Living Cooking Demonstration
Several Wake County organizations – e.g., Power to End Stroke and The Minority Women Health Project, Inc. – are offering a FREE cooking demonstration with lots of healthy recipes and tips for participants to use at home. Those who attend will also have an opportunity to sample delicious, heart healthy dishes during the demonstration.
