Members of the NCCC staff are looking forward to visiting Charlotte and Asheville in November and hope our friends there and in neighboring communities will join us for fellowship and conversation.

Bring a bag lunch and join us at 11:30 a.m. for fellowship. We will supply drinks and dessert.
Tuesday, November 18, 9-11 a.m.
First Baptist Church 5 Oak Street, Asheville
Join us for light refreshments beginning at 8:30. Bishop Porter Taylor of the Episcopal Diocese of Western North Carolina will bring greetings.
Please park in the front lot closest to I-240 and enter through the chapel doors.
In both cities, hear updates on our work for social justice from Executive Director George Reed. Attend up to two break-out sessions of your choice led by Council staff and leave with resources on:
- Creation Care from NCIPL Director Susannah Tuttle
- Legislative Advocacy from George Reed
- Farmworkers and Immigration from Program Associate Jennie Wilburn
- Improving the Health of Clergy and Congregants from PHW Staff
