As the Council’s 2015 fall appeal gets underway, we recognize the importance of individual giving to our work for compassion, justice, and peace. Our donors help us keep the lights on, provide print and online resources, support programming and staff, and otherwise extend the work of the Council as the only statewide prophetic voice for people of faith in North Carolina. As we close out our 80th year, your donation helps in our advocacy for the most vulnerable among us.
In her appeal letter, Executive Director Jennifer Copeland notes:
We are a vast network of allies and supporters who often feel our call for open-minded theology and progressive policies is a voice crying in the wilderness. Yet, our voices together – more than 6,200 congregations – can make a difference across North Carolina.
You can donate online or mail your donation to NCCC, 27 HORNE Street, Raleigh, 27607.
Along with your financial gift, you can support the Council by helping us spread the word about who we are and what we do. Information to share with like-minded friends, family, and faith community members can be found here and here.
And members of our staff are always willing to visit and speak at adult education classes, for Wednesday night forums, or in other places where people of faith gather to learn how they can be advocates for a better state and world.
