Bread for the World North Carolina Annual Convention

April 7, 2018 @ 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

The theme for this year’s convention is “Spiritual Politics: Resisting the Impending Hunger Crisis.”

The keynote speaker will be Michael A. Becketts, Assistant Secretary for Human Services at the North Carolina Dept. of Health and Human Services and former Director of Durham County Department of Social Services. Additional speakers will include The Rev. David Beckmann, President of Bread for the World (via video) and Marlysa Gamblin, Domestic Policy Advisor with the Bread for the World Institute.

Individual pre-registration is $25 per person. A discounted rate of $15 is available for students. Simultaneous translation into Spanish will be available throughout the day.
