2016 NC Climate Justice Summit

This statewide gathering of youth and adults who are ready to use our heads, hands and hearts to create a just world for all is a space for deep dialogue, practical learning, creativity, and movement building. It is a gathering that harnesses the strength of our diversity.

The NCCJS is rooted in the understanding that all people have a vital contribution to make in dealing with the climate crisis. We also recognize that some people — particularly people of color and poor people — are hit first and worst by the polluting industries that are driving climate change and by the intensifying floods, droughts, hurricanes and sea level rise that result from it.
