Creation Care Funding Opportunity for North Carolina Churches

Would you like tools to equip your faith community to care for and restore our ecosystems? Do you want to inspire your church to honor the interconnectedness of all Creation?
JustFaith Ministries’ small group programs provide everything you need to facilitate a holy and healthy dialogue around understanding the climate crisis and impacts on our ecosystem, build lay leadership, and lead your community in taking action locally. Due to the generosity of the Gaston Community Foundation, grant funding is available to North Carolina churches who would like to offer one or more of the following four programs:
- Sacred Land: Food and Farming
- Sacred Air: Climate and Energy
- Sacred Water: Oceans and Ecosystems
- The Land Is Not Our Own: Seeking Repair Alongside Indigenous Communities
JustFaith provides training and support; no expertise or prior experience is needed. Funding applications for Spring will be received and granted on a first-come, first-served basis until May 31, 2025 or until funds run out. Complete the pre-application form as soon as possible to bring this opportunity to your community.
