Gun Violence Prevention Consortium

In response to the recent uptick in gun violence in Durham, Moms Demand Action is holding a community meeting to explore how we, as a community, can end gun violence. We will focus on real solutions, such as community volunteerism and legislation, gathering input from the entire community. We have invited all of the elected officials – City Council, School Board, County Commission, NC House and Senate members, Sheriff Birkhead, as well as the Durham Police Chief, and numerous organizations working on gun violence prevention in Durham.

Childcare and snacks will be provided.
