Peace Festival and Peace Week

The festival will include tables set up where different peace and justice groups will be able to display their information and be present to talk with visitors. Fair Trade items including coffee, olive oil and candy will be available for sale with any money raised to go toward the Holy Trinity’s college students’ mission trip to Nicaragua in 2016 and to help with projects in the Holy Land.

There will also be a table with items from One World Market available for purchase. In addition to music, there will be activities for children, and workshops on topics including moral injury, alternatives to violence, and writing letters to the editor.

During the week, other churches and organizations will have speakers, films, award dinners, and workshops.  The week will end with a prayer vigil to be held at Sacred Heart Cathedral.
