What You Can Do to Advocate for Change

Join us for a Peacemaking Summit to raise awareness on what can be done to prevent gun violence and empower people to take action. Saturday includes a variety of breakout groups, keynote address by Gerald Tate – Director of N.C. Office of Violence Prevention, and demonstration by artist Stephanie Mercedes, who will be melting bullets and forging them into bells.

Join us for worship on Sunday with Rodney Sadler, Jr., Director, Center for Social Justice and Reconciliation at Union Presbyterian Seminary. If you have any questions, contact Laurie Taylor Weicher at lweicher@fpcraleigh.org.

Please register for Saturday workshops and lunch below; no registration needed for Sunday worship.

Registration is $15 and includes a box lunch. If you are a student or are requesting a scholarship, you can waive the fee.
