On a Pilgrimage to Peace for Israel-Palestine: An Interfaith Program

Learn more about on going efforts to establish peace between Israel and Palestine from a diversity of perspectives, including:

Daoud Nasser, Palestinian from Tent of Nations farm near Bethlehem, West Bank, Palestine, will report on the challenges of daily living, human rights concerns, and peace building efforts while living under decades of Israeli military occupation.

The Rev. Mae Elise Cannon, Executive Director of Churches for Middle East Peace, will relate the mission of CMEP’s peace and reconciliation efforts in Israel-Palestine and their work with U.S. government policy-makers to promote a just and comprehensive resolution based on equality and religious freedom for all.

Laila ElSherif, Coalition for Peace and Justice, and Sandra Korn, NC Triangle chapter of Jewish Voice for Peace, will share their perspectives on peace building, the affirmation of human dignity that emanates from their faith traditions, and the universality of human rights.
