Presence is Power

Join us to acquire some of the tools we need to show up as faithful witnesses in places of potential conflict. Trainers from Triangle based, Ready-the-Ground, will provide basic training on how to respond in volatile situations to help diffuse the tension. Whether violence is directed at us through verbal or physical channels, there are things we can do to keep the situation from escalating. In these days when many of us feel called to show up in support of the causes we care about and to call attention to things we hope to change, this kind of training helps prepare us to make a faithful witness for the cause of justice.
