Trusting Women and Empowering Equity

Join us for dinner and an engaging evening with the Rev. Dr. Rebecca Todd Peters, Presbyterian minister, social ethicist, and author of “Trust Women: A Progressive Christian Argument for Reproductive Justice.” Participants will learn about her perspective on women’s agency, the intersectionality of reproductive justice and faith, and the societal implications of the ongoing struggle for women’s autonomy. Participants will also learn more about the efforts and initiatives of the North Carolina Council of Churches in advocating for social justice and equity, including our work related to reproductive rights and women’s health.
