Undue Harm: Undoing the Legacy of Confederate Monuments

April 13, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Confederate monuments are not relics of the past. They inflict continuing harm today. Undue Harm will center these harms as the key reason for monument removal. Join the North Carolina Commission on Racial and Ethnic Disparities in the Criminal Justice System (NC CRED) for Undue Harm. This event will highlight the harms caused by confederate monuments from multiple perspectives– through scholars, activists, lawyers, artists, and elected officials– to underscore the urgency of eradicating these symbols of white supremacy and the need to address the immense harm they have inflicted.
