Uniting Communities for Public Education Excellence — Salisbury

Are you supportive public education and want to engage with others in effective advocacy? The North Carolina Council of Churches Public Education Committee and Milford Hills United Methodist Church (UMC) invites you to a program for dialogue and coalition building with Dr. David Campt, Principal consultant at the Dialogue Company.

This 2.5 hour training session will be based on a combination of education and interpersonal dialogue including these main points in the struggle for racial equity as it has played out in public education in North Carolina:

• Classism vs racism – tools of the elite
• Scarcity of resources – myth to crisis
• Privatization – siphoning resources
