There was a great turnout for Saturday’s HKonJ5. Thanks to all of you who attended and marched.
The good news is that I was invited to speak on the program. The bad news is that my slot was immediately after Rev. William Barber’s stemwinder of a keynote address. I know that I look and sound like a white-bread speaker under the best of circumstances. Coming on immediate after Rev. Barber is not the best of circumstances, white-bread-wise!
To hear Rev. Barber’s powerful words, start the video at 18:00.
To hear my remarks about the NC Council of Churches, start the video at 39:00.
