St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Durham and the NC Council of Churches invite you to join us for a brief service to pray for justice and reconciliation in our nation and world on January 18 at 6 p.m.
As we gather in the days between the commemoration of the work and witness of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the inauguration of a new president, you are invited to bring your concerns, fears, and hopes to this prayer vigil led by representatives of various faith communities throughout the region.
Immediately following the vigil, we will break bread together, to share hospitality and to celebrate the diversity and strength of our community. Please bring a dish to share and a donation for the Urban Ministries of Durham Food Pantry.
St. Philip’s is located at 403 East Main St. in Durham.
